The following are photographs from a 2020-2025 project focused around Sít' Kusá, also known as Turner Glacier, near Yakutat, Alaska. This work was funded by the National Science Foundation, with the goal of understanding glacier surges specifically, and how glacier hydrology influenced glacier dynamics and fast glacier flow more generally. This project was carried out as a collaboration between the UI Glacier Dynamics lab and scientists at Boise State University.
